Bug: Sitecore SXA 10.0–10.1.2 Multisite Link Provider
Our Sitecore implementation partner has managed to uncover a bug when working with a Sitecore JSS multi site implementation with SXA Installed. The link provider does not generate the links correctly when referencing Sitecore items from one site to another using the General Link field.
This bug can be reproduced in SXA 10. You may ask support for a patch if you encounter the same issue in either a SXA or JSS (Headless) tenant. I have double checked release notes for SXA 10.1 and 10.2, this issue is not fixed in those versions.
The public reference number is 466226. As per Sitecore’s Versioning Policy , they will produce cumulative rollup patch. Be sure to read the Readme file in the patch on what other bugs the provided patch also fixes.
UPDATE Thursday 18th November 2021: apparently this is fixed in SXA 10.2. Thanks for confirming George.
